Project Overview
This project was designed to transform complex multi-regional sales records into a coherent narrative about customer behavior and overarching market trends. By leveraging advanced data modeling, it shifts the focus from sheer volume tracking to understanding the 'who' and 'where' of sales.
Technical Workflow & Implementation:
- ETL Pipeline Construction: Built a robust Extract, Transform, and Load pipeline using Pandas to consolidate disparate data sources, handling anomaly detection and data type normalization.
- Customer Segmentation Matrix: Analyzed purchasing patterns to segment the customer base based on frequency and order volume, identifying high-value buyer demographics.
- Geospatial Integration: Integrated and plotted data via map visualizations in the BI environment to pinpoint exact regions driving revenue vs. underperforming areas.
The resulting dashboard serves as a vital tool for the marketing and sales departments, ensuring campaigns can be highly targeted geographically and demographically, thereby maximizing ROI on promotional spend.
